Anora (18)

Winner of the top prize at the Cannes Film Festival and nominated for 6 Oscars, Anora is a very grown-up (adults only) black comedy-drama. As a gritty variant on Pretty Woman or Cinderella, Anora works in a New York strip club, where she meets the playboy son of a Russian oligarch. They fall in love and marry, but her parents certainly do not approve. As they try to derail the relationship, the film becomes altogether black, with an ending to beat all endings.
